LivingTV: Boring TV channel. Pacha: Boring nightclub, location of LivingTV’s 10th birthday party. This is the first photograph I’ve taken with a mobile phone. With any luck, it will be the only one. Bananarama were the guests of honour, and failed Big Brother contestants were the in-crowd. Everyone received a Will and Grace DVD as a gift. Say no more.
My second Polaroid Manipulation attempt, taken 24hrs after the first
This is a view from the back of my house. The emulsion was moved around using a wooden skewer. There is no Photoshop here, it is all just moving around chemicals inside the photo.
This is my first attempt at a so-called ‘SX-70 Polaroid Manipulation’.
The Polaroid SX-70 camera (purchased for 7 pounds on ebay) has been manipulated using a fork. Yes, a metal fork. The Polaroid emulsion is sandwiched between plastic layers and takes some time to harden. The emulsion remains soft for some time, even after it is developed, and can be moved around using anything sharp.
